Need a vegan hor d'oeuvre or a healthy snack? I made these the other night with items I had on hand, having had a moment since giving up smoking and it's been difficult.

Healthy Chocolate Energy Bites could be an amazing recipe for you to try. This recipe makes approximately 30 servings with 97 calories, 3g of protein, and 7g of fat each. For 39 cents per serving, this recipe covers 6% of your daily requirements of vitamins and minerals. A mixture of granola, lsa mix, sesame seeds, and a handful of other ingredients are all it takes to make this recipe so scrumptious. From preparation to the plate, this recipe takes about 20 minutes

  3. Melt the almond butter then combine well with the mango pulp.
  4. Using disposable gloves, roll the mixture between palms, creating the bite size bites.
  5. Place on a tray lined with plastic wrap and freeze for approximately 15 minutes or until set.
  6. Keep refrigerated.
nb: LSA is a super healthy acronym for a ground mix of a blended Linseed, Sunflower and Almond meal.
LSA has a Health Star Rating of 5 (the healthiest rating there is) which is hardly surprising since linseed, sunflower seeds and almonds are jam-packed full of nutrients. As a whole, LSA is loaded with protein, essential for muscles building and repair, and is an excellent source of dietary fibre that helps keep your digestive system in good working order.
