Healthy Chocolate Energy Bites

Ingredients
- 2 cups organic granola or muesli
- 0.5 cups pine nuts
- 0.75 cups sesame seeds
- 0.5 cups natural almond or peanut butter
- 0.5 cups mango pulp ~ puree
- 0.75 cups cocoa
- 0.75 cups LSA (see below for description)
Instructions
- Add all dry ingredients to mixer and chop / blend.
- Add Cocoa to the rest of the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- Melt the almond butter then combine well with the mango pulp.
- Using disposable gloves, roll the mixture between palms, creating the bite size bites.
- Place on a tray lined with plastic wrap and freeze for approximately 15 minutes or until set.
- Keep refrigerated.
nb: LSA is a super healthy acronym for a ground mix of a blended Linseed, Sunflower and Almond meal.
LSA has a Health Star Rating of 5 (the healthiest rating there is) which is hardly surprising since linseed, sunflower seeds and almonds are jam-packed full of nutrients.
